On 1st of August, I met up with our East London Penny Authors at the Four Corners Gallery in Roman Road, Bethnal Green, London. Ayesha Chowdhury and Opu Islam turned up after finishing their work, I was expect more, Leema Begum, Sabina Begum and Gous Ali sent me their apologies.  

Here we are standing in front of the photographic exhibition that I am part of put on by Four Corners, Swadinata Trust and the LBTH Archive Library.

I am very grateful of their commitment and dedication to Penny Authors. I am humbled and will arrange a proper get together where we will recite and champion our peers.

Opu presented his poetry book to me which he has published himself. Thank you for that, I will read and I am sure, I will photograph it too.
