This is our first recital evening.

Date: Wednesday 2nd of October 2024

Time: 6.30-8.30pm (Doors open 6pm)

Venue: Redwing Gallery, 32 Alverton Road, Green market, Penzance, TR18 2QN.

We will be reciting and performing in a group. We will be reciting our own one and also a poem of another Penny Author in their absence, who cannot be with us either because they live far away or no longer with us.

This is the beginning and the first, so we will see how this one works out and just build on it.

Format:

1. Share a roll call - read out the names of all Penny Authors, past and present.
2. take turns to read from poems published in the Book of Lived.
3. Help, encourage and give feedback on the

This is NOT an open mic, performance is only for Penny Authors, however, it is open to any poetry lovers, and anyone wanting to join Penny Authors.

Please note - contribution, donations and sales are requested to fund and cover the costs. We are working off a coffee/cappuccino basis, a small cup cost around £3.00-3.20 minimum, or if you appreciate the efforts taken to put this together please feel free to donate more. All money raised will go to financing PA's activities and promotional materials 100%+.
